The “Eggplant” Air Penny III originally released in 2010 and ten years later it appears it will make its return to retail later this year.
In keeping in with its original aesthetic, it will feature a white leather upper with a eggplant lateral Foamposite wing. Black shows up on the tongue/inner bootie and pull tabs with a Penny logo present on the lower lateral ankle.
A eggplant midsole sits below the aforementioned upper that houses a forefoot Zoom air cushioning with a heel Air Max unit.
The “Eggplant” Nike Air Penny III is scheduled to make its second retail run sometime in November at nike.com and select retail establishments; it will carry a $155 USD sticker price.
